Birds Custard
‘Best with Birds’ was an advertorial campaign to find Britain’s best loved pudding to raise awareness of great British puddings served with custard.
We selected, tested, wrote and proof read the 10 recipes for the campaign which consisted of a full page colour advertisement in the Sun Newspaper supported by a website, where readers could vote for their favourite pudding.

Working as a team Take2Eggs were able to maximise time in the studio, and many of the shots were done with pouring custard to enhance the iconic hero, Bird’s custard. As the shots were to be published online and in newsprint it was essential to achieve shots with contrast, clarity and colour to maximise impact. Blackberry and Apple Crumble was the star and went on to win the poll.
